My wardrobe is full of pieces that I can wear over and over again, but in different ways. Right now, I'm in love with this faux leather dress by Nicole Richie. Right when I saw it, I knew it was so me. It's got a rock n' roll feel, but the A-line fit keeps it traditional.
My style really is all over the place. One day I'm very boho, another rock, and another completely classic. But I love things that are easy to throw on and effortless. For my Take 5 styles, I went with what I was feeling like that morning. One of my favorite ways to wear the dress is casual with a grungy beanie, flannel shirt tied around my waist and some beat-up boots. The dress is also a perfect layering piece, either with a denim button-up or striped tee underneath. I had the best time playing around and discovering new ways I could wear the dress. Belted or unbelted, it's a winner!
As for shooting in my new home of NYC, I feel lucky to have had such a rad crew. I love it when everyone you’re working with is outgoing and fun. In between shots, we would all jump in the van and take off for the next location – it was such a great time. They even followed me around rollerblading in the park! Believe me, it wasn't easy. Though we had a total blast making our way through the crazy city to all of my favorite spots. The videos definitely give a teeny-tiny glimpse into my life... and how you can wear one killer dress just about anywhere at anytime.
