mBLOG: We know you’re headed to The 2016 Olympic Games in Rio this summer. Do you have a favorite event?

RS: Swimming — never disappoints. Always a nail biter. The USA has a lot of strong competitors that are vying for medals.

mBLOG: We’re used to seeing you rocking a suit or tux. How did you come up with the looks for this line?

RS: The idea for the Rio collection was inspired by my upcoming travel to Rio. It’s a reflection of the city’s excitement and vibrant culture. We wanted the pieces to be fun and to have both texture and color.

mBLOG: What’s one way to describe the Ryan in Rio looks?

RS: Easy and effortless. The capsule has a dozen or so items that are great for casual summer looks: polos, shorts, a knit blazer that holds up really well traveling.

mBLOG: What’s your favorite item from the collection?

RS: I’d have to say the color blocked wind breaker. It’s an easy way to make any ensemble pop, and it’s perfect for a night on the beach.

mBLOG: On vacation, would we find you poolside or at the beach?

RS: If I could, I’d be at or near the ocean every day. There are a lot of great pools by the beach!

mBLOG: Name your fave emoji to send while you’re on vacation.

RS: It depends. At quick glance, I have a feeling I’ll be using the palm tree and wave emojis while in Rio!
