7 New Scents I’m Loving for Fall!

There are a million different reasons why I love fall, and discovering a sultry new scent to pair with cozy cashmere, skinny jeans and cute boots is just one of them! Here, I’ve rounded up 7 of my latest faves, from bright and fruity to intoxicatingly oh la la, so you can spice up the season with a single spritz. xx

image1Marc Jacobs Decadence – So, FYI, Marc Jacobs decided to bring luxury and glamour back to the fragrance world this fall. I mean, is this bottle not the most gorgeous thing ever?!?! From the emerald green glass to the python-embossed, chained topper that mimics one of the designer’s iconic handbags, everything about it is perfection. And not that I’m opposed to buying a scent strictly for the sex appeal it can add to your vanity, but this one truly smells as good as it looks! Italian plum and iris (my fave!) give the scent a warm, rich opening; Bulgarian rose and jasmine add classic elegance at the heart; and finally vetiver, papyrus woods & liquid amber reveal a sultry dry down that’s pure, well, Decadence (pun intended!). Bravo Marc Jacobs!

Givenchy Live Irresistible – I tend to like warmer, spicier scents, but this is a great option for anyone who prefers to keep things on the lighter side regardless of the season! Live Irresistible blends the sweetness of pineapple with Givenchy’s signature rose, then rounds things out with the warmth of amber, creating the prefect ‘fruity’ fall fragrance.

Nejma Le Parfum D’Alice – Intriguing and complex, don’t dismiss this multi-faceted fragrance on first pass. Sparkling rhubarb & pink pepper add instant intrigue then slowly meld into a heart of peony, orange blossom, Turkish Rose and blackcurrant absolute. Finally, unfolding layer by gorgeous layer, the fragrance settles into its warm, earthy base of Hatian Vetiver and Cognac soaked wood.

Yves Saint Laurent Black Opium – The top three reasons I’m dying over the new Black Opium …

1) The gorge bottle looks like it’s been dipped in black glitter!

2) It’s spiked with notes of rich coffee beans and seductively sweet vanilla. They had me at coffee beans!

3) As a girl who lives in Manhattan, this fragrance tagline speaks to my soul – Black, not a color, an attitude.

image2 NARCISO – Again with the packaging – so beautiful! I expect anything created by Narciso Rodriguez to be feminine and clean, but the designer’s latest fragrance reaches a new level of elegance. NARCISO blends graceful notes of rose and gardenia with earthy vetiver, cedars and musc to create an elevated elixir described as the “scent of seduction”.

image6Calvin Klein Eternity NOW – Fresh & feminine, the first thing I wrote down after smelling Eternity NOW was, “easy to wear,” and I think that statement still holds true. Bright floral notes mix with a cottony cleanness that makes me want to spritz this on fresh out of the shower and almost guarantees it will be my new go-to fragrance for all of fall’s laidback, lounging type weekends.

Tom Ford Sahara Noir – An ode to the mystery and luxury of the Middle East, Sahara Noir draws you in with its glimmering golden bottle and holds you captive with its intoxicatingly beautiful scent. Notes of bitter orange and Levantine cypress give way to layers of precious frankincense, cinnamon, warm amber, cedar and vanilla, creating a smoky, spicy and mysterious perfume of smoldering incense.
