These floral ice cubes are so easy to
make, you’ll be asking yourself why you haven’t attempted them sooner. The only thing you’ll need for this DIY, besides water and edible flowers, is an ice cube tray.
(We recommend a silicone ice tray as
it’s flexible and makes it easy to pop out
the cubes.)

First, fill the bottom third of the ice cube
tray with water, then set a flower into each, making sure that the flowers and are
clean and dry. Tip: Choose flowers that are small but have a clean, classic silhouette. Too many little pieces will look messy.
Next, place the tray into the freezer and freeze until firm. Once they’re set, fill the tray the rest of the way up with water and freeze again. As your guests arrive, remove the frozen flowers from the freezer and awe them with pretty floral drinks or set
them in the ice bucket to cool the bubbly!

Say hello to your new go-to centerpiece, the mini teacup bouquet! Inspired by spinning teacup rides at the fair, these easy arrangements are the perfect balance of playfulness and sophistication. And did we mention, they are super simple? The most time-consuming part may be selecting the flowers you want to use. We suggest getting a variety of shapes and sizes to make each bouquet unique and provide visual interest. Then, all that you’ll need is floral foam, a teacup and saucer set, and scissors. Wet the foam under water and trim it carefully to fit the teacup. Then with the flowers of your choice, cut the stems to 1-2”, slide them into the foam and voila!

Turn an ordinary bar cart into the ultimate candy bar with a variety of treats and flowers. Pick up your favorite nostalgic carnival snacks such as cotton candy, buttered popcorn, caramel apples and lollipops (to name a few) in a range of colors, shapes and sizes. Add a fun ice bucket with floral ice cubes to keep your bubbly cold. Use printed highball glasses as makeshift vases for your lollies and flowers. Next, place all your goodies on the top shelf—the more the merrier! No need to worry about clashing colors here; just have fun mixing and matching your sweets and floral arrangements!

    1. Hi Tonie — the annual Macy’s Flower Show March 26 through April 9 is in New York City, Chicago and San Francisco. These are some beautiful DIY romantic carnival party ideas! Let us know if you try any out. Thanks! – Nora at Macy’s

  1. Since I was very young, a million years ago, Macy’s Flower Show has been a really big deal to me. My Mom and I would get dressed up, have a wonderful lunch and enjoy every flower in each window, on the accessories bays and at each landing. We especially loved the gorgeous table displays in the china department. Mom is gone now but I’ll be meeting one of my daughters in Union Square this week to see another stunning show. Thank you Macy’s! Happy Spring💐
